Tongue pain

Originally I wanted to blog about something that happened a few days ago, but just as I was getting ready to write, my tongue started to give me terrible issues! A few days ago I accidentally bit on my tongue, leaving a little wound. I didn’t think too much of it, but soon it started to hurt. This was very annoying, because it’s exactly at a spot on my tongue that’s leaning against a tooth a lot and that hurts. It hurts even more when I eat.

As I was getting ready to write my blogpost, the pain reached some point where it lasts for too long and now I can’t filter it anymore. It’s not even that much pain, but I feel it all the time and now that I can’t filter it, I can’t even concentrate on anything else anymore. It’s taking up all my attention. I guess you can compare it with someone trying to get your attention all the time by pulling your shirt and going ‘Listen. Listen to me. I need to say something. Listen. Please listen.’ all the time while you’re trying to have a normal conversation with someone. You lose track of your conversation, you can’t concentrate and you’re terribly annoyed. That’s how it feels.

I’ve been having this problem all day, but not as bad as it is now. I want it to go away. Even typing this goes slower than I ever typed. I’m actually really fast with typing on my laptop, but right now the speed that I’m typing at makes me seem like I hardly ever use a computer at all. Imagine me trying to socialise right now. I’m happy it’s late at night, so I have no reason to socialise now, but I really hope this is gone tomorrow. This was important to wright about to me, but I’m ending my blog here, as just typing this is already costing me too much concentration. Gosh, I really hope I can sleep well tonight…
